Meet Julie and Ryan…..
On the 28th of August 2016 I will be running the Keepsafe Perth 10k for the Charity Perth Autism Support also know as PAS. PAS is a very important Charity and almost a necessity for children, young adults and their families who are on the Autism Spectrum or awaiting diagnoses. They provide a safe environment for children to be children and learn and experience all the fun and enjoyment that they should be able to enjoy with the support of amazing staff and volunteers who are trained to work with Autism. My son Ryan has Autism and since joining Perth Autism Support nearly 3 years ago he has grown into a very intelligent happy fun little boy. PAS take the children on fantastic day trips over the holiday periods, they also provide activities in term time too and the list is endless from cooking to swimming, survival skills to lego or simply an afternoon at the movies and this is only a tip of the iceberg. They truely are an amazing Charity and we need to constantly keep raising funds to allow PAS to sustain and grow. Autism is growing and growing and more children, young adults and even adults are being diagnosed more and more every day. My motivation is my bright beautiful boy Ryan and that’s why this year I am taking part in the 10k.
